On April 29, 2022, Vicky White, a 15-year veteran captain of the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee, and Casey White, an inmate, escaped from the Lauderdale County Detention Center. They were discovered missing during a routine inmate check. Vicky White was driving a marked sheriff’s department SUV, and they were last seen on surveillance footage at a restaurant in Evansville, Indiana. Authorities believe they may be headed to Florida. Vicky White is charged with aiding an escape, and Casey White is charged with escape and aggravated assault. Their whereabouts remain unknown.
