A woman who was convicted of killing her common-law husband in the 1990s in Canada has been released on parole. The woman, identified only as C.B., was granted full parole after serving more than 25 years in prison. She was originally sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years. The reasons for her early release were not disclosed.
