The New York Yankees announced on Tuesday that they will move right-handed pitcher Marcus Stroman to the bullpen and promote left-hander Nestor Cortes to start in his place. Stroman, who was acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays in a trade earlier this season, has struggled in his time as a starter for the Yankees, posting a 6.18 ERA in six starts. Cortes, who has made four relief appearances for the team this year, will make his first career start on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers.
