Yolanda Saldivar, the woman convicted of murdering Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla in 1995, is currently serving her sentence in a Texas prison. Saldivar, a former fan club president, was found guilty of shooting Quintanilla at a motel in Corpus Christi. The singer was only 23 years old at the time of her death. Saldivar was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
