The defense and prosecution teams are set to deliver their closing arguments in the trial of a Lake County woman accused of killing and burying her husband. The jury will then begin deliberations. Mangana Ellis, 49, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of her husband, 51-year-old Michael Ellis. Prosecutors allege that Mangana Ellis shot her husband during an argument in their home in December 2021 and then buried his body in a shallow grave in their backyard.
