A top aide to former President Donald Trump reportedly underwent an emergency abortion procedure last week after suffering a miscarriage. According to Rolling Stone, Olivia Troye, a former homeland security adviser, went to the hospital after experiencing heavy bleeding and was later diagnosed with a molar pregnancy, a rare condition in which a nonviable fetus fails to develop and instead forms a tumor. Troye, who is pro-choice, underwent a dilation and evacuation procedure to remove the tumor and stop the bleeding. She is now recovering at home.
